What dances do we do?
Most of our dances are authentic Twente dances that require no further explanation. There are dancing at around 1900 but several around the Second World War. Since we are a lump village, the Klompendans 2 versions performed. The 2nd version we called the Holzschuhdans because we have rehearsed this occasion our cooperation to an opera written by Harm must Riessen en “Czar und Zimmermann”.
Outside the Twente dance, we bring several old Dutch salon dances like the Veleta, Spanish waltz, Spring Bode and pass rolling and the Frisian Simmer Moarn waltz. There are also ancient dances given a modern form and we spend several German and Austrian dances include the Hopswals, snow roller and the Alps Polka.
